Full description

The Trabzon City Tour begins at 9:00 AM. You will be picked up from your hotel or designated meeting points and invited to discover the beauty of this fascinating Black Sea city. On this tour, you'll explore the rich heritage left behind by the Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans, while also experiencing the modern face of Trabzon. Our first stop is the Atatürk Mansion, a beautiful example of civil architecture where Atatürk stayed during his visits to Trabzon. Here, you'll admire the elegant furnishings of the time and enjoy a brief stop in the mansion's scenic garden, perfect for relaxation and photos.

Next, we head to Trabzon Botanic Park, the Black Sea region’s first and only botanical garden, covering 103 acres. With its rich variety of plants, the park is a haven for nature lovers. After a peaceful stroll through the garden, we make our way to the Trabzon City Museum, where you will delve into the city's fascinating history. Along the way, you’ll take in panoramic views of important historical landmarks like Trabzon Castle, Gülbahar Hatun Mosque, Zağnos Valley, and Ortahisar District. At the museum, you'll discover Trabzon’s ancient past, cultural heritage, and historical significance through a chronological display.

Our tour continues with a visit to the traditional marketplaces that showcase Trabzon’s vibrant trading history. As we walk through Kunduracılar Street, Semerciler Market, Kemeraltı Market, and the famous Bakırcılar Market, you'll feel the pulse of Trabzon’s local commerce and have the chance to shop for souvenirs or handcrafted items. After exploring the bustling markets, we proceed to the peaceful Sera Lake Nature Park. Here, we take a serene walk around the lake, soaking in the tranquility of nature, before enjoying some free time for lunch.

After lunch, we visit the iconic Ayasofya Mosque, originally built as a Byzantine church in the 13th century and renowned for its stunning frescoes. This historical site offers a glimpse into the architectural and artistic brilliance of early Renaissance art. Finally, we head to Boztepe, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Trabzon. From this vantage point, we end our Trabzon City Tour with stunning vistas and a farewell, hoping to see you again on our next journey.
