Welcome to Trabzon, the pearl of the Black Sea! Upon your arrival at the airport, our team will meet you and provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel. Hotel check-in time starts at 14:00, so in the meantime, you can either relax at the hotel or explore Trabzon city center, which is within walking distance. Immerse yourself in the mystic atmosphere of the Black Sea and its rich historical charm.
If you wish, you can extend your stay in Trabzon by contacting our team before or after the tour for personalized recommendations to explore the city further. Throughout the rest of the tour, you’ll have the chance to discover the natural beauty and historical treasures of the Black Sea region.
After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards the famous Sumela Monastery. Following a scenic one-hour drive, we arrive at Altındere National Park. From here, we take a short ride with national park shuttle vehicles, followed by a 300-meter walk to reach the monastery. Standing on a cliff, the Sumela Monastery greets us with its stunning architecture and historical significance. With our guide, you'll explore chapels, student rooms, the Rock Church, and more, learning the monastery’s fascinating stories.
After exploring Sumela, we head to the Zigana Pass, one of the most significant points of the Silk Road at an altitude of 2050 meters. You’ll be mesmerized by the lush green landscapes. Next, we proceed to the charming village of Hamsikoy, famous for its delicious rice pudding. After enjoying lunch and tasting this famous dessert, we return to Trabzon where you can spend the rest of the evening at your leisure.
After breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to the stunning Ayder Plateau. As we travel through the picturesque Firtina Valley, the breathtaking views will captivate you. Our first stop allows those who wish to experience some adventure activities like rafting, ziplining, or enjoying a giant swing ride. After this, we continue our journey to Ayder Plateau, a natural wonder.
Once we arrive at Ayder, we visit the famous Gelintulu Waterfall, located 1400 meters above sea level. You’ll have the opportunity to take a relaxing walk through the plateau or enjoy a hot drink at one of the local cafes while taking in the spectacular views of the Black Sea landscape. After some free time, we return to Trabzon, leaving you to enjoy the rest of your evening as you wish.
On the final day, after breakfast at the hotel, we set off for our tour of Uzungol. Along the way, we make a stop at a Surmene Knife store and a local tea factory, where you’ll learn about the traditional craftsmanship and enjoy some tea tasting.
We continue our journey through the Solakli Valley, eventually arriving at the picturesque Uzungol. We first visit the Observation Terrace and the Artificial Waterfalls, both offering magnificent views of the surrounding nature. You’ll have time to capture stunning photos and enjoy the serene environment. After some free time to explore or relax in the cafes around the lake, we return to Trabzon. At the end of the tour, we’ll transfer you to either the airport or the city center, wishing you farewell until we meet again.
Our tour will end at Trabzon Airport and Trabzon City Center between 18.00-19.00. Airport transfers will be made between 19:00 and 23:00. We recommend that you buy your flight tickets for the return flight at 20.30 and after.
Hotels: You will be staying at one of the following hotels or similar, subject to availability. Our hotels are in the city center. After a day of adventure and fun alone with nature, you will have the opportunity to benefit from all activities within walking distance of your hotel in the city center.
Participant List Contact:
You will be contacted prior to the tour for the participant name list. Additionally, you are required to fill out the Participant Information Form included in the reservation confirmation email.
Pick-up and Drop-off Service: Pick-up services are provided from Trabzon Airport, intercity bus terminal, and city center hotels. Please contact us for any additional requests.
Information: The operations department staff will inform you about the tour details and departure times. All participants must be ready in the hotel lobby at least 15 minutes before the tour begins. If the bus is delayed, participants should not leave the meeting point.
Right to Change Dates and Times: The operator reserves the right to change the tour dates and times. For example, the dates of Uzungöl and Sümela Monastery tours may be swapped.
End of the Tour and Return: The tour will end between 18:00-19:00 at Trabzon Airport and Trabzon City Center. Airport transfers will be available between 19:00-23:00. We recommend booking your return flights for 20:30 or later.
