Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Trabzon and Hotel Check-In
Welcome to Trabzon, the pearl of the Black Sea! Upon your arrival, our professional team will greet you at the airport and provide a comfortable and safe transfer to your hotel. Our airport-to-hotel transfers are available from 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM. We also offer transfers from the Intercity Bus Terminal.
Hotel check-in is available after 2:00 PM, so we recommend booking your flight to arrive in Trabzon in the afternoon. Once you’ve checked into your hotel, you can relax and enjoy the comfort of your room, or if you prefer, take a stroll through Trabzon city center, located within walking distance of your hotel.
You’ll have free time until tomorrow morning when the tour begins. Trabzon’s historical charm and unique atmosphere await you. We are excited to embark on this unforgettable Black Sea experience with you!
Day 2 - Trabzon City Tour
On the second day of our Black Sea tour, after a delightful breakfast at the hotel, we will start exploring Trabzon. This city tour will allow you to discover Trabzon’s historical and natural beauty, making it a perfect beginning to your Black Sea adventure.
Our first stop is Atatürk Mansion, where Atatürk stayed during his visits to Trabzon. After admiring the elegant architecture and gardens of this historical building, we will head to Trabzon Botanical Park, where you can explore the rich plant life of the Black Sea region. Next, we’ll visit Trabzon Aquarium, the world’s first tunnel aquarium, filled with colorful marine life from around the globe.
We’ll take in panoramic views of Trabzon Castle, Gülbahar Hatun Mosque, and Zağnos Valley while learning about the city’s history from our guide. You’ll have the opportunity to shop and observe local trade at Kunduracılar Street, Bakırcılar Bazaar, and Kemeraltı. We’ll then stop for lunch at Sera Lake Nature Park. Afterward, we’ll visit the Hagia Sophia Mosque, famous for its Byzantine frescoes. The day will conclude with breathtaking views from Boztepe Viewing Terrace, where you can take in the panoramic beauty of Trabzon.
Day 3 - Sümela Monastery, Zigana Pass, and Hamsiköy Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll set out to visit Sümela Monastery, located within Altındere National Park. This historic site, with its impressive frescoes, mystical atmosphere, and stunning views, will captivate you. Upon arrival at the monastery, our guide will provide detailed insights into its history and architecture. The stone staircases, aqueducts, and mystical ambiance of the monastery will take you on a journey through time.
We’ll then continue to the Zigana Pass, a breathtaking route nestled within the mountains of the Black Sea. After a short break to take in the fresh mountain air and stunning views, we’ll head to Hamsiköy, a charming village known for its famous rice pudding. You’ll have the chance to taste this traditional dessert before we return to Trabzon and check back into the hotel.
Day 4 - Ayder Highland and Fırtına Valley Tour
After a refreshing breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our journey to Ayder Plateau and Fırtına Valley, two of the most beautiful natural wonders of the Black Sea region. Our first stop is Fırtına Valley, known for its lush landscapes and exciting adventure activities. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to go rafting or try the thrilling zipline.
As we continue our journey to Ayder Plateau, we’ll stop along the way to visit the iconic stone arch bridges, symbols of the region, and witness the rich history of the area. Afterward, we’ll arrive at Ayder Plateau, where you can breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the stunning nature. You’ll have free time to take nature walks, savor local delicacies, or browse the handicraft shops. At the end of the day, we’ll return to the hotel.
Day 5 - Uzungöl and Haldizen Valley Tour
After breakfast, we’ll check out from the hotel and depart for our tour of Uzungöl. On the way, we will visit the famous Sürmene Knife Workshop, where you can explore and purchase handcrafted knives and other local products. Then, we’ll stop at a tea factory, where you’ll learn about the tea production process and sample freshly brewed Black Sea tea.
As we continue along Solaklı Valley, we will arrive at Uzungöl, one of the most famous natural wonders of the Black Sea region. You’ll have time to walk around the lake and experience its peaceful atmosphere. You can also visit the artificial waterfalls and take memorable photos. At the end of the day, we’ll return to Trabzon and provide transfer to either the airport or the city center.
Day 6 - Hıdırnebi Plateau and Çal Cave Tour
On our final day, after breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Hıdırnebi Plateau. This plateau is one of the most beautiful in the Black Sea region, offering a tranquil environment with its clean air and stunning nature. Upon arrival, we’ll take short walks to explore the natural beauty of the plateau. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs from local shops or taste the delicious dishes of traditional Black Sea cuisine.
Next, we will visit Çal Cave, famous for its underground rivers and breathtaking natural formations. As the second-longest cave in the world, it offers a unique underground experience. Our guide will provide insight into the geological and historical significance of the cave.
After the cave visit, we’ll stop for lunch at Sera Lake Nature Park, where you can enjoy a meal surrounded by nature. Afterward, we’ll return to Trabzon to complete the tour.
Following some free time in the city center, our professional team will transfer you to the airport based on your flight time. After spending this wonderful time together, we bid farewell, hoping to meet again on another tour.
Our tour will end between 6:00-7:00 PM at Trabzon Airport or the city center. Airport transfers will be available from 7:00-11:00 PM. We recommend booking your return flights for 8:30 PM or later.
