Day 1: Adıyaman Nemrut Mountain National Park Tour
Our tour starts at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport. The itinerary has been prepared considering the direct flight schedules from Istanbul to Şanlıurfa and back. Transportation to the airport in Istanbul will be organized by you. Your guide will meet you at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport. After the meeting, we will proceed to Nemrut Mountain National Park.
Our first stop will be the Karakuş Tumulus of the Commagene Kingdom. This burial site, built in memory of the royal family, is surrounded by impressive columns. Our next stop will be the Cendere Bridge, a magnificent Roman-era structure, where we will take a short break to enjoy the breathtaking views. Afterwards, we will visit Arsemia, the ancient capital of the Commagene Kingdom. This ancient city has a captivating atmosphere with mysterious tunnels and reliefs that provide significant clues about the lives of the kings.
The final stop of the day will be the summit of Mount Nemrut. Here, you will visit both the eastern and western terraces, taking a journey back in time among the colossal statues and inscriptions, and enjoy the mesmerizing sunset view of Nemrut.
For lunch, you have the freedom to choose the time and place according to the program. Your guide’s recommendations and your preferences will be important in this matter.
At the end of the day, we will return to Şanlıurfa and check into our hotel in the city center. You will have the evening free for dinner and relaxation until the departure time for tomorrow’s tour.
Day 2: Göbeklitepe and Şanlıurfa City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed with the check-out process. We will then start our tour by visiting Göbeklitepe, a site that has profoundly impacted human history. Dating back 12,000 years, this archaeological site has fundamentally changed known human history. Located in the Mesopotamian region, Göbeklitepe offers crucial insights into the religious beliefs of hunter-gatherer societies. Here, you will explore how people of that era created sacred spaces and expressed their religious beliefs.
Following the visit to Göbeklitepe, we will return to Şanlıurfa city center and visit the Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum and Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum. The Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum showcases significant artifacts reflecting the region’s rich history, while the Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum is famous for its impressive mosaics from ancient times.
For lunch, you have the freedom to choose the time and place according to the program. Your guide’s recommendations and your preferences will be important in this matter.
Afterward, you will visit the Halil-ür Rahman Mosque and Ayn Zeliha (Balıklıgöl). According to legend, a great fire was lit in this lake, and when Prophet Abraham fell into the fire, the lake was formed and the trees turned into fish. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit Rızvaniye Mosque, the sacred Cave believed to be the birthplace of Prophet Abraham, Sipahi Bazaar, Kazzaz Bazaar, Hacı Kamil Inn, Hüseyiniye Bazaar, Naccar Bazaar, Historical Customs House, Ulucami, and the Kitchen Museum.
At the end of the day, you will be transferred to Şanlıurfa GAP Airport, and our tour will conclude.

Our tour starts and ends at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport. Optionally, your tour can also end at a hotel in the city center of Şanlıurfa. Your guide will assist you with this.
